Volunteering with iCare Community Services

Would you like to gain hands on experience in the disability sector?

We offer a number of interesting volunteer opportunities to support the frail aged and younger people with disabilities; including accompanying them to social or medical appointments, taking them shopping or to social outings, calling or visiting them. Community Aid’s clients live in the Liverpool, Fairfield and Campbelltown local government areas.

Are you studying and need experience?

Volunteer work in disability or community care is a fulfilling and rewarding way to gain “hands on” experience working with cultural diversity and those whose needs require special care and support, get a taste of what the sector has to offer, give back to your community and create job opportunities for when you finish your studies.

From helping out with after school programs for kids with disability to learning your way round an office, assisting with administration, volunteer roles are as diverse as the students who take them on!

It doesn’t matter how much or how little time you have to give; there will be something for you. If you would like to dedicate anywhere from 20 minutes a week to three hours a fortnight, please contact us: 02 8006 1755 or info@icareservices.org
