What makes us different?
To help alleviate the ‘who do I call’ and ‘how do I fix this’ qualms, we have started a handyman program to help with minor home repairs.
This program grants any income challenged senior and or disabled resident one hour of free handyman services, as needed. The services include any minor home repair that can be completed with hand tools such as a hammer, screwdriver or pliers. In many cases if additional help is needed referrals can be made available to the homeowner.
- To qualify for this program, residents must be at least 65 years old and/or disabled, either permanently or due to a temporary illness, have limited income, and reside at the address where service is requested.
- iCare Community Services offers the service for odd jobs or a complete maintenance service. We are very happy to assist with decorating, repairs and DIY jobs.
